Direct Market Access and Smart Order Routing
Our Smart Router and DMA capabilities provide access to all major exchanges, ECNs, ATSs, MTFs and to our premier LXSM crossing platform. In addition to targeting displayed liquidity, Smart Router seeks to uncover hidden liquidity in public venues and dark market venues based on historical and real-time liquidity data.
Smart Router uses Intermarket Sweep Orders (ISOs) to maximize efficiency when accessing liquidity and allows a destination to execute immediately without having to re-route an order.

LXSM Dark Liquidity Crossing Network
LXSM is Barclays Capital's dark liquidity crossing network which aggregates liquidity across the firm, including orders from clients and non-displayed trading partners, to provide users access to a deep and unique pool of liquidity. LX is an integral part of our electronic trading offering, providing clients with enhanced execution quality. LX can be accessed through Barclays Capital LMX® algorithmic trading strategies (including LMX® Hydra which sources liquidity from multiple dark market venues) and directly from leading OMS and EMS systems including RealTick®.
Anti-gaming technology has been built in to LX to protect against information leakage, and execution quality reports are available that enable clients to determine how to best incorporate LX into their trading strategies.
Panorama Trade Alerts
Panorama is a powerful messaging and alerts system that delivers real-time market color and order status to traders’ desktops. The service is highly customisable and is designed to deliver alerts on market events that are related to client algorithmic order flows, holdings and/or securities on a custom watch list.
Panorama enables users to select the universe (group of orders or stocks) for which they wish to receive alerts, the specific alerts to receive for each universe, and how the alerts are delivered eg via AIM®, Instant Bloomberg® chat, email, or RealTick®.
