Singapore – Barclays Capital, the investment banking division of Barclays Bank PLC, is pleased to announce the appointment of Jacqueline Tan, as Managing Director, Head of Risk Solutions Group, Southeast Asia.

Ms Tan will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of risk solutions across all asset classes to investment banking clients in Southeast Asia. She will be based in Singapore and will report to Patrick Kwan and Andrew Jones, Co-heads of Global Financing and Risk Solutions, Asia Pacific, and Lutfey Siddiqi, Head of Corp FX & FX Distribution, Asia-Pacific.

"Jacqueline has been appointed to further accelerate the expansion of the strong risk solutions business that we have built in Asia Pacific," said Patrick Kwan. "She brings with her a breadth of experience and expertise in the region and her leadership will further enhance our service offering to this important segment of our client franchise in Asia Pacific," he added.

Ms Tan joins Barclays Capital from ABN Amro in Singapore, where she held a number of positions, most recently Head of Corporate Risk Solution Sales in Asia, prior to which she was with JP Morgan.
