Barclays Capital has been named "Best Bank Overall" and "Best Bank for Credit Research" in the 2009 Credit magazine Americas Awards. Credit magazine noted, "From being outside the top five in 2008, Barclays Capital, the investment banking arm of Barclays, scoops a double first this year."
